St. Louis Business Video – Visit Clarksville!
Our large summer project was creating photography, 360 virtual tours, and video for the city of Clarksville (located about an hour north of St. Louis). Below is the 2013 Welcome to Clarksville promo. It was a lot of fun shooting this particular gig. Along the way we met some very nice and talented folks from the various stores in Clarksville. From glassblowers to furniture makers, from painters to unique artistans we were truly impressed by the caliber of skill this beautiful little town has. Don’t believe us? Watch the video below!

Sunflowers in St. Louis drought
The summer in St. Louis Missouri has been quite unusually hot and dry. In many areas, once lush and green pastures and fields flourished with color and intensity, now lay singed and colorless. Yet we came across this lively patch of sunflowers that refused to give in to the dry reality and provided some of the most vivid colors we’ve seen in Missouri lately.

Clarksville, Missouri on the Mississippi Riverfront
Clarksville, Missouri on the Mississippi Riverfront photographed as a 360 Virtual Tour.
Earlier this summer we had the pleasure of photographing one of Missouri’s historic and secret gems; Clarksville. Part of America’s newest scenic byways, the Little Dixie Highway 79 of the Great River Road., Clarksville is approximately 60 miles north of St. Louis. It overlooks U.S. Lock and Dam 24, providing a close vantage point to view all river boat and barge traffic.
Below is one of the 360° virtual tours we shot that shows off the impressive U.S. Lock and Dam 24 as well as the beautiful Mississippi Riverfront in Clarksville, Missouri.
The revitalized downtown business district features artists, potters, glass blowers, jewelry designers, antique dealers, furniture makers, and specialty craftsmen, and are occupied by working artisans practicing their traditional skills. Clarksville is located in Pike County, and boasts being one of the largest winter migrating areas for the Bald Eagle. The Mississippi River and U.S. Lock and Dam 24 provides great fishing for the Bald Eagle as well as the four-legged fisherman. For great breakfasts, lunches, and superb fresh coffee, hot and iced, we recommend The Farm Cafe, photographed here as a 360° virtual tour.
We shot HD video and photographed a total of twenty-five 360 virtual tours, featuring the businesses and local sporting activities. For a breath-taking eagles view of Clarksville and the beautiful surrounding scenery, please take a look at our 360º Virtual Tours page and scroll down to the third tour. Stay tuned for a special full-featured blog post with all 25 virtual tours and the video.
